Lara’s 7 ½ years as a Bilingual School Counselor and Yoga/Meditation teacher for youth and families has equipped her with the skills to effectively serve all ages from a holistic approach. Lara assists her Somatic Experiencing trauma healing teacher, Maggie Kline, author of "Trauma-Proofing Your Kids: A Parents' Guide for Instilling Confidence, Joy and Resilience" and "Trauma Proofing Your Schools."
Her individual and/or group sessions may involve a combination of aromatherapy, deep relaxation, meditation, mudras, personalized yoga postures, visualizations, affirmations and other somatic exercises. Each session facilitates greater physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Lara addresses a wide range of physical, psycho-emotional and psycho-spiritual issues including anxiety, depression, food struggles, insomnia, trauma, various dis-eases in the body, chronic pain, and addictions. She tailors her sessions to meet the needs of her clients, encouraging them to deeply connect to their true nature of peace and love.
Yoga Nidra iRest
Yoga Nidra is a form of meditative self-inquiry from the teachings of yoga. This guided seated or lying down meditation induces mental calm, physical ease and deep brain wave states in which old unhealthy patterns can be deconstructed and replaced with new, self affirming patterns. Benefits include: deep relaxation throughout the body and mind, heightened ability to manage stress, overcoming insomnia, resolve trauma, shift negative conditioning and/or addictive tendencies and overcome anxiety and fear. Yoga Nidra guides us into a deep meditative state which reveals our true nature.
BODY MIND WELLNESS for Food Addiction and Emotional Health
Addictive behaviors, the drive to seek pleasure and avoid pain, hinder our physical, emotional and spiritual growth and leaves us ill equipped to deal with stress. Body Mind Wellness sessions are a conduit for treating the spiritual malady of addiction by teaching us how to observe the mind, listen to the body, self-nurture and experience emotions without reacting to them. Lara’s sessions facilitate the process of returning to our true nature of peace and love, thereby reconnecting us to our higher self/power.

The chakras are energy centers in the body that receive energy from the universe, store it and distribute it to specific parts of the body-mind.
